Photography is one of those rewarding hobbies; to capture a true smile, the glisten of an eye, the laugh of a child, the sound of nature, or the inspiration of an event gives a sense of joy to those taking, and viewing, the picture. Pictures can speak thousands of words, and can be very powerful. I strive to one day make a difference by photography. It is something that I am passionate about and enjoy doing. I specialize in portrait photography. I believe what Paul Strand said was true,
"It is one thing to photograph people. It is another to make others care about them by revealing the core of their humanness."

Locals are My Favourite

We went to visit some friends on our trip. These friends opened my eyes to a number of things that I will carry with me for a number of years, if not my whole life. Food, guns, mountain, truck, gear shifting, 30% incline, 14km, dog that got sprayed by a skunk, snowball fight, God, sunsets, and good company are these few days in a nutshell.

This was at the highest highway mountain pass in Ontario
My sister was the first to start our snowball fight in July.

That's fight, folks! Leena shot a gun! Not in this picture.. this was before I tried to hit the target. You can tell because I am definitely NOT holding it correctly.
